Description

This is a headstone from 1779, located 2 metres east of the vestry of the Church of St Nicholas in Tresmeer, Churchtown. It commemorates John Kittow, who died in 1779, as well as his son William, who also died in 1779. The headstone is made of slate and features a segmental arched head with curved shoulders. The inscriptions are in both upper and lower case lettering with serifs.
