Description
There are two headstones located 30 metres north of the vestry of the Church of St Breock. The first headstone, dating from 1758, commemorates Elizabeth, the wife of Peter Rescorla, who died in that year, as well as Peter Rescorla himself, who died in 1772. This headstone is made of slate and features an elliptical arched and shouldered top, with inscriptions in upper and lower case lettering that includes serifs. The second headstone, which lies flat and dates from 1780, is a rectangular slate headstone in memory of Elizabeth Rescorla, who died in 1780, as well as two individuals named John, both of whom also died in 1780. This headstone is similarly inscribed in upper and lower case lettering with serifs.
