Range of barns about 15 metres west of Mennabroom Farmhouse

This is a range of barns located about 15 metres west of Mennabroom Farmhouse. The central barn is possibly from the 17th century, with an 18th-century barn attached to the right and a later range, likely from the 18th to 19th century, attached to the left. The barns are constructed of granite rubble and have corrugated asbestos roofs with gable ends; the 18th-century barn features a hipped roof.

The central building was likely originally a shippon, with openings only at the front. The barn to the right is an 18th-century bank barn of two storeys, while the left end has a range of single-storey outbuildings arranged in an L-plan.

On the exterior, the central shippon has a gable end that slightly projects beyond the front of the barn to the right. There is a doorway on the right end, with a blocked loading door above it featuring a timber lintel. The front has three ventilation slits with splayed reveals internally and roughly hewn granite lintels. A mounting block is attached to the front, and there is a ventilation slit at the rear. The barn on the right has two storeys; the front includes a ground-floor window on the left and a doorway, while the first floor has a loading door with a timber lintel on the right. The right end has a ground-floor door, and the gable end is clad in corrugated iron at the upper level. At the rear, there is a loading door that corresponds to the front door. There is a straight joint to the left of the shippon, connecting it to the single-storey range, which has two stable doors with timber lintels and a small central single light with a granite lintel. The end roof is hipped, and there is a blind end wall. The shippon and the attached single-storey building feature 19th-century roof structures.
