Description
This is a pair of chest tombs located in the churchyard about 5 metres north of the north aisle of the Church of St Columba. They date from the 18th and 19th centuries and are made of brick, slate, and granite. One tomb is a brick chest with a slate inscription plate on top, dedicated to John Martyn, who died in 1799. The other is also a brick chest with a slate inscription plate on top, dedicated to John Martyn, who died in 1798.
