Description
This pair of gate piers, located about 100 metres southeast of Tregonan Farmhouse, dates from the 16th century and consists of re-sited fragments from a former doorway or gateway at the farmhouse. Made of granite, each pier stands approximately 1½ metres high on a moulded base featuring hollow mouldings. The tops of the piers are flat, cut off just below where a former arch would have sprung.
