Description

This is a holy well of medieval origin, located at Carn Brea. The well is defined by large granite stones, which are somewhat displaced and overgrown, and enclose the well beside a stream. Tradition links the well to St Euny, a Celtic missionary who arrived in Cornwall in the 7th century. The well has been associated with the saint since that time.
