Description

Tregev House is a house dating to 1806, as indicated by a datestone under the eaves. It is constructed of rendered rubble walls with slate cills and slate hanging to the first floor. The building has hipped scantle slate roofs, with brick chimneys positioned over the gable end on the left, axially, and at the hipped end wall of the rear wing. It features cast iron ogee gutters.

The house follows an L-shaped plan, encompassing two large rooms along the front and a single-room service wing behind the room on the left. A staircase is present, likely repositioned during a previous alteration. It's a two-story building with a subsequently converted attic. The southwest front, featuring three windows, has the left-hand windows grouped closer together. Original 16-pane hornless sashes are found on the ground floor, to the left. The first floor features hornless sashes as well, along with a round window inserted in the 20th century, positioned to the right of the middle window. A wide entrance doorway, also a 20th-century addition, has replaced a former window position at the ground floor right. This doorway includes glazed doors and a 20th-century porch featuring columns and an entablature canopy. There are 20th-century roof dormers. The interior has not been inspected.
