Description

The barn located directly to the northwest of East Pendrift Farmhouse is a Grade II listed structure dating from around the 18th century. It is constructed of stone rubble and features a corrugated asbestos roof with gable ends. The barn has a rectangular plan and is a single-storey building, with 20th-century garage doors installed in the left-hand gable end. Although the interior was not inspected, the barn is noted for having exceptionally thick walls, and its original use and exact age remain uncertain. It is situated close to East Pendrift Farmhouse and contributes to an unaltered and attractive group of buildings.
