Description

This is a medieval cross located 2 metres to the east of the chancel of the Church of St Nicholas in Tresmeer. The cross is made of greenstone and stands approximately 2 feet high and 1 foot 9 inches wide. It is positioned to the south of the church, near the grave of the vicar. The raised Latin cross is depicted in shallow relief on both faces. The historian A.G. Langdon suggests that this cross may have originally come from the churchyard at Laneast.
