Description

The bridge over the River Kenwyn, located at SW 822470 NE, dates from the early 19th century. It is constructed from slatestone rubble and features a single span with a round arch on each side. The arch is made of rubble voussoirs, and the bridge has low rubble parapets topped with rubble and mortar copings. This structure exemplifies simple bridge construction using locally quarried materials.
