ALTARNUN ALTARNUN SX 28 SW 4/47 Outbuildings in group 15 metres to - west of Oak House

GV II

Range of cartsheds, implements sheds and coal store or cool store. Probably mid C19. Stone rubble. Rag slate roofs. Plan: Two open-fronted outbuildings, one of two bays and one of three bays with outbuilding to left, possibly a coal shed or cool store. Exterior: To right a two-bay open-fronted shed of single storey with central granite pier. Near centre a 3-bay single storey open-fronted shed with two granite posts supporting open framing, which supports the eaves of the roof. Low stone rubble walls have been inserted in front of the first and third bays. To left an outbuilding with a dressed stone rounded arch in the front and stone barrel vaulted roof. There is a central drainage channel within.
