Description
Trendeal Vean is an early 19th-century farmhouse constructed from shale rubble with granite quoins and dressings. It features a Delabole slate roof and brick gable chimneys. The building is symmetrical, consisting of two rooms wide and deep, with an outshut to the back on the left side. It is two storeys high with three windows and a central door. The door is set beneath an open granite ashlared porch, which has cavetto moulded copings leading to a low pitched gable. The six-panelled door includes flush beaded bottom panels and a plain fanlight above. A granite plinth runs along the base of the building. All openings are slightly arched, featuring granite voussoirs and projecting keystones. The windows are 12-paned sashes without horns, and there is a central rear stair window located at half floor level. The interior has not been inspected.
