Description
The churchyard cross, located 4.5 meters south of the tower of the Church of St. Michael, dates from the late 12th century. It is made of granite and features a wheelhead design on a short section of shaft. The head displays a raised pathe cross on both faces, with the arms connected by a raised rim and the panels within the arms pierced. A short section of the roll-moulded shaft remains, though it is partly buried in the ground. The overall height of the cross is 1.1 meters, with a thickness of 0.3 meters and a wheelhead diameter of 0.8 meters. The cross has been moved from its original position to the west of the church.
