Description

Boscrege Cottage is a small house located in a small terrace, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of granite rubble, featuring dressed granite quoins, jambstones, sills, and lintels. The roof is made of grouted scantle slate, with brick chimneys positioned over the gable end on the left side. The cottage has a two-room plan with a lobby and stair between the rooms, and there are later 19th-century single-storey lean-tos at the rear.

The building stands two storeys high and has a nearly symmetrical front with two windows facing southeast and a central doorway. The original front door consists of four panels with round-headed top panels, and it retains original 12-pane hornless sash windows. The interior has not been inspected but is noted to be unmodernised.

In front of the cottage, there is a rubble wall that surrounds a rectangular garden, with dressed granite monolithic gate piers flanking a central entrance.
