Description

The Old Farmhouse and adjoining outbuilding, located approximately 15 metres north of Treen Farmhouse, is an 18th-century farmhouse constructed from granite rubble with moorstone dressings and features scantle slate roofs. A dressed granite chimney is positioned over the left-hand gable end. The farmhouse has a two-room plan, likely with a central cross passage or lobby entrance between the rooms.

The exterior is two storeys high and presents a nearly symmetrical west front with two windows and a central doorway that is spanned by an oak lintel. The front is low and includes an original small window opening, along with an old ledged door. There are modern 20th-century windows, two of which are louvered. To the right, there is a slightly lower single-storey extension that has a doorway on the left and a slit ventilator near the doorway, also featuring an old ledged door. The interior has not been inspected.
