Description

The remains of a medieval cross are located 900 meters to the west of Gooseford. The base of the cross is made of granite, with the shaft extending 1 foot above ground level and continuing an additional 4 feet below ground due to road rebuilding. This site is also noted in the Sites and Monuments Register in Truro.
