Description

The gate-piers and flanking walls forming the entrance 40 metres to the north-east of Trehummer Farmhouse are likely from the mid-19th century, built around the same time as the farmhouse. They are constructed from ashlar granite and snecked stone rubble. The entrance features a pair of square gate-piers made of ashlar granite and snecked stone rubble, each topped with a moulded cornice and ball finials. The gate-piers are flanked by stone rubble quadrant walls that have granite coping and squat terminal piers, also square in plan, topped with granite pyramidal caps.
