Description
The gates, gate-piers, walls, and railings at the front (east) of Treludick are likely from the early 18th century. They feature a pair of granite ashlar gate-piers that are square in shape, with a cyma-recta moulded cornice and curved necks, topped with ball finials. The entrance includes a pair of heavy 18th-century cast iron gates, which have a ramped and scrolled rail and uprights that end in arrowheads. Additionally, there are low flanking garden walls made of stone rubble with granite coping, complemented by 18th-century cast iron railings, also with uprights that terminate in arrowheads.
