Description

The belfry or wellhead structure located in the gardens of Nos 15 and 17 Culver Road dates from the 16th or 17th century. It is believed to have been capped for a former Town Hall and features a granite arched stone with an ancient bell suspended inside. The structure is now integrated into a masonry plinth that contains a tablet fragment inscribed with the words '5 Springs'.
