3/108 Godolphin Bridge Farmhouse and - adjoining outbuildings

Farmhouse, possibly a former count (account) house, and adjoining outbuilidngs. Circa early C19. Killas rubble with dressed granite quoins, jambstones, sills and lintels, painted at the sides and rear. Three quarter hipped asbestos slate roof over house with rendered brick chimneys over the side walls. The roof steps down over the 2 adjoining outbuildings with gable ends, corrugated asbestos sheeting and asbestos slate. Plan: double-depth house with 2 equal front rooms on either side of a cross passage lending to a stair hall between shallower rear service rooms, the cross passage cranked round stair to back door. Lower outbuildings (now partly converted) adjoins the left hand side of the rear and this adjoins a yet lower outbuilding at the far left Front wall of former lean-to survives at the right of the house. Z storeys. Symmetrical 3 window front with central doorway. C20 windows and door. The rear has its original hornless sashes including a tall mid-floor round-headed stair sash with fanlight head. Interior superficially altered in the C20 but the structure is largely intact.
