GV II

Group of 5 chest tombs and 1 headstone. Chest tombs: 1789 to John Lugg, died aged 33. Incised slate slab on brick base. 1789 to Nicholas Lean, died aged 58. Incised slate slab at ground level. 1800 to John Henwood. Incised slate slab on brick base. 1808 to John Lugg. Incised slate slab on granite ashlar base. 1839 to David Scott, died aged 66. Panelled granite sides, coved cornice to granite lid, with small incised slate insert towards west end. All rectangular-on-plan. Headstone 1845 to Jennifer Lugg, died aged 70. White limestone monolith. Moulded border to east face enclosing panelled chest with cornice, obelisk shaped panel over enclosing incised inscription and all surmounted by triangular pediment.
