Description

Bay Trees is a mid-19th century terraced house located on Woodlane, Falmouth. The house is stuccoed over a rubble core, with a mid-floor band, an egg-and-dart cornice under deep eaves, and a dry slate roof. Rendered end stacks are also present. The building features a double-depth plan and a symmetrical three-window front. It has original 12-pane hornless sash windows. The central porch is pilastered and contains an elliptical-arched doorway with small flanking sidelights. The porch has a moulded cornice with paired coved brackets. The original six-panel inner door has the top four panels later glazed, and is accessed by three granite steps. The interior has not been inspected, but is likely to be of interest.
