Description
No. 34 Woodlane is a mid-19th century terraced house located in Falmouth. The building is constructed of stucco and features quoin strips and an egg-and-dart cornice beneath the eaves, which extends over the canted bays. It has an asbestos slate hipped roof and a double-depth plan. The house stands two storeys tall with a symmetrical three-bay front.
The original central glazed porch is flanked by two-storey canted bays that have a moulded cornice. The windows are late 19th-century horned sashes. The pilastered porch includes consoles beside a frieze of glazed roundels and coved brackets under a deep soffit. The entrance features a pair of glazed and panelled doors, with similar sidelights and return lights, and is accessed by a wide flight of granite steps. The interior has not been inspected but is likely to be of interest.
