Description

This milestone, located 400 metres to the northeast of Tresquite Mill, dates from the early 19th century. It is made of granite and has a square shape. The upper case lettering is incised and painted in black, featuring serifs. The milestone indicates directions and distances to Looe, Fowey, and Polperro, showing distances of 6, 3, and 11 miles respectively.
