Description

Milestone located 400 meters north of Meadow View, dating from the early 19th century. It is made of granite and has a square section. The milestone is inscribed on four faces with black painted uppercase letters indicating distances and directions to Looe, Polperro, Fowey, and Pelynt. It is set into a bank, and the lettering on the fourth face, which gives the direction to Polperro, is obscured. Notably, the letter "N" in "Pelynt" is reversed.
