Description
This is an early 19th-century town house, likely built on a 17th-century site. It’s constructed of coursed local stone with granite quoins, sills, and jambstones, featuring flat brick arches with stone keys. The roof is steeply pitched with asbestos slate, and has paired brackets under the eaves. The building follows a double-depth plan and has three storeys over a hidden basement, with a three-window front. It contains late 19th-century four-pane horned sash windows. A house doorway is on the left, now with a 20th-century door, while the remainder of the front features a late 20th-century shop front. The property is listed for its group value.
