Description
The Par Inn is an early 19th-century public house in Tywardreath. It is constructed of granite rubble with granite dressings and sills, and has a hipped roof covered with rag slate, with a brick axial stack on the left and an end stack on the right. Cast-iron ogee gutters top the building. The building has a double-depth plan.
The exterior is two storeys with a three-window front. The windows are original 16-pane hornless sashes, but the glazing bars have been removed from the ground-floor sashes flanking the centre and right-hand doorways. The main entrance is an original four-panel door. The left-hand return has a tall stair window with margin panes, and a 12-pane sash to its left. The right-hand return has original sashes.
The bar area has no original features. The remainder of the interior was not inspected.
