Description
Newhouse Farmhouse is a building of group value, situated on the site of the former St Andrew's Priory, and incorporating some of its original walls. The farmhouse has an L-shaped plan. It is constructed of rubble, with some areas plastered, and has a hipped slate roof and brick stacks. The original part of the house dates from the 19th century. It has two storeys, featuring sash and casement windows. A longer wing, also of two storeys, was added in the 19th century and features three sash windows. The south elevation is characterised by two gables.
