Description
10 and 12 Church Street is a pair of houses built in 1860, reflecting the Regency architectural style. The buildings are constructed of rubble and feature a hipped slate roof with brick chimney stacks. The eaves are bracketed, and the central section of the façade projects slightly, topped with a pediment. The houses are two storeys high, with three sash windows featuring glazing bars on the first floor. The ground floor has six smaller windows with rounded heads, along with a central round-headed doorway. Each end of the building has a single-storey wing with round-headed windows, and there is a return one-storey wing at each end that has a shallow recess in the gable facing the street.
