Description

This is a drinking trough and well house located 35 metres south of Penally House, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed from slate stone and granite. The well house is positioned at the side of the road, built into a high bank made of vertically coursed slate stones. It features an ashlar round-headed arch with jambs. Inside, there is a rectangular granite drinking trough that is supplied by a water outlet pipe in the rear wall.
