Description
Lower Chypraze Farmhouse and the adjoining outbuilding are likely 18th century structures that were extended around the mid-19th century and remodeled in the late 19th century. The front and left side of the farmhouse feature slate hanging, while the rest is made of granite rubble with granite dressings. It has a scantle slate L-plan roof with gable ends on the right and rear, and rendered brick stacks on the right, left, and rear.
The farmhouse has an L-shaped layout with three rooms and a single-storey stable and cartshed attached on the right. The house includes two front rooms separated by a cross passage, with the left room being wider, likely serving as the original kitchen, and a one-room-plan wing extending at right angles behind. The exterior is two storeys high and has a slightly asymmetrical three-window south front, with a doorway located to the right of the center. The entrance features a late 19th-century panelled door with marginal panes in the glazed top panel, and four-pane horned sashes of a similar period. The interior has not been inspected.
