Description

ZENNOR SW 43 NE 4/283 Piggery at approximately 30 metres 9.2.88 north east of Tregerthen Farmhouse GV II Piggery with integral swill kitchen. Circa mid-late C19. Granite rubble with granite dressings. Grouted scantle slate roof with brick chimney over right-hand gable end. Plan: rectangular plan with 3 pigs' stys left, and swill kitchen right. 4 doorways at the front. Window at rear of swill kitchen only. Presumably there is a feeding passage behind the pigs' stys approached by a doorway from the swill kitchen. Interior: not inspected. Part of an unspoiled coastal hamlet set in the ancient field system of this part of Cornwall.
