Description

This is an early 19th century row of single-fronted houses, numbered 4 to 21, located on Clarence Street in Penzance. The houses are rendered in stucco, although numbers 6 and 8 have a roughcast finish. They are three storeys high, with two windows on each floor. Most windows are sash windows with glazing bars and small sill aprons. Numbers 4 to 7 and 9, 11, and 14 feature small lathed and fretted pediments. The porch at number 10 has been replaced with a modern glazed porch. The roofs are slate, with eaves soffits. Numbers 2 to 21, together with the Baptist Chapel, form a notable group.
