Description

This is an early 19th-century building on St Clare Street, Penzance. It is constructed of stucco and has two storeys and two windows. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars. The original double shop front retains its glazing bars and features double doors that hinge in halves, together with a rectangular fanlight above. An entablature with a flat cornice sits above the shop front. A doorway to the left is also topped with a rectangular fanlight. The roof is covered with slates and has a wide eaves soffit. The building is designated a Grade II listed building due to the significance of its shop front.
