Description

Holy wellhouse, possibly of medieval origins, located 80 metres to the southeast of Lavethan. It is constructed of stone rubble and built into a bank, likely over a field spring. The wellhouse features a low profile with a chamfered granite elliptical arch and stone rubble jambs. At the top, it is surmounted by a granite wheelhead cross that has an inscribed Greek cross.
