Pair of cottages. Circa mid C19. Stone rubble with brick dressings. Rag slate roof with gable ends and clay crested ridge tiles. Central brick axial stack with 4 diagonally set brick shafts. Plan: Pair of symmetrical mirror image cottages each of 2 room double depth plan, the principal room to front and service room to rear. Entrance through the original porches, to far right and left with the principal rooms in the centre heated by the shared central axial stack. Exterior: 2 storeys. Symmetrical mirror-image 2-window front. Gabled entrance porches to far right and left with banded brick 2-centred arches and cusped bargeboards decorated with central pendant and finial. Two C19 4-pane sashes near centre with banded brick segmental arches and two C19 4-pane sashes directly above in gabled half dormers with cusped bargeboards decorated with central pendants and finials. Interior: Not inspected.
