Description
The Holy Well, located approximately 180 metres south-south-west of the Church of St Denis in North Tamerton, consists of the ruins of a well head housing. This structure is possibly of medieval origin, and currently, only the stone rubble retaining walls of the well head remain. The site has been partly backfilled and capped with a large piece of slate following a drowning incident.
