Description

The Addicote headstones, located approximately 11 metres south of the Church of St Buryan, are a pair of early 19th-century memorials. The left-hand stone commemorates Margaret Addicote, who died in 1833 at the age of 59, and her sister Mary, who passed away in 1854 at the age of 55. The right-hand stone is dedicated to William Addicote, who died in 1782 at the age of 46, and his wife Elizabeth, who died in 1831 at the age of 84. These headstones are made of dressed freestone and feature shaped heads.
