Description

4 Polkerris is an early 18th century cottage constructed from painted stone rubble and cob. It is one storey with an attic and features two windows that are two-light casements, along with two gabled dormers that emerge through the eaves. The cottage has a plain central door and a porch made of corrugated iron, supported by shaped brackets. The steep roof is also covered in corrugated iron and has gable ends, while an end stone chimney stack completes the structure. This building is included for its group value, as it contributes to the cohesive character of the village group in Polkerris.
