Description

Nos 16 and 17 are earlier 18th century stone rubble cottages located in Polkerris. The buildings are two storeys high with a total of four windows. No 17 features small sashes with glazing bars, while No 16 has sashes on the ground floor and two-light casements on the first floor. Both cottages have two doors with six-fielded panels, and No 16 includes a dog-gate. They are topped with slate hoods supported by shaped brackets and have a central brick chimney. The cottages are covered by a slate hipped roof. All the listed buildings in Polkerris create a cohesive village group.
