Description

SX 07 NW ST KEW ST KEW 5/222 Granary 30m to north east of - Trescobel GV II Granary. Circa 1820s. Timber frame, slate-hung with scantle slate pyramid roof. Square-on-plan, raised above ground on three rows of three granite staddle stones. Stone rubble steps up to timber plank door.Timber louvred openings on 2 sides. Interior posts with slots for horizontal dividing boards. Mechanism to adjust louvered shutters. Pencilled inscriptions recording names, dates and amounts. In grounds of rectory which has now been converted into a private house (qv Trescobel).
