Description

This is a house, likely built in the mid to late 18th century, with alterations from the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed of painted stone rubble with a bitumenised slate roof, featuring ridge tiles and gable ends. The building has a two-room layout, with rooms on the left side, a passage on the right, and a shop front inserted on the ground floor in the late 19th century. A further rear addition was added in the 19th century.

The front facade is asymmetrical, with two windows. The ground floor on the left has a late 19th-century canted shop front, featuring a plate-glass window with a moulded cill, a recessed half-glazed door to the right, pilasters, and a plain fascia with a cornice supported by consoles. The first floor also has a canted bay window on the left, containing a four-pane sash window with sidelights and a pitched roof. A 20th-century window is located on the first floor to the right, above the passage.

A rendered rear wing, added in the late 19th century, extends from the right side. It has a 20th-century door and a first-floor window. The interior has not been inspected. The building possesses group value.
