Description

This is an 18th-century guidestone located in St Columb Major. It is made of granite and stands about one metre high. The guidestone has a roughly square shape with a roughly pyramidal top. It features irregular carved and painted lettering in both upper and lower case that reads: "I Mile to Saint Columb." The stone has been painted.
