Description
This is an 18th-century milestone located in St Columb Major. It is made of painted granite and stands about one metre high. The milestone has a rectangular shape with a pyramidal top. It features carved painted lettering in both upper and lower case, displaying the Roman numerals "III MILE" to Saint Columb, along with a benchmark.
