Description
The Gray monument is a headstone located in the churchyard about 5 meters east of the north vestry of the Church of St. Germanus. It dates from the mid-18th century and is made of slate. The headstone features a tall nowy head with a lined border and a finely carved primitive cherub's head with wings. Notably, the nowy head has unusual curved shoulders. It includes a couplet and an inscription dedicated to Rebecca Gray, who passed away in 1758.
