Description

Nos 38 and 39 Market Place are 18th to 19th century buildings constructed of ashlar stone. They feature a parapet and a coved cornice, standing three storeys high with four sash windows, one of which has glazing bars. The ground floor has modern shop fronts from the late 19th century, with a doorway situated between them. These buildings, along with Nos 38 to 41 Market Place and Nos 1 and 2 Market Jew Street, form a cohesive group.
