Description
These are early 19th-century buildings located on the north side of Penzance Market Place. They are rendered with a slate roof and wide eaves, featuring pilasters on the first and second floors and a decorative band. The buildings are two storeys high and originally contained three windows within recessed surrounds, with sash windows lacking glazing bars. The front now has two modern shop fronts that are not in keeping with the original appearance. The buildings are listed for their group value alongside numbers 38 to 41 Market Place and numbers 1 and 2 Market Jew Street.
