Description

This is an early 19th-century building on Webb Street, Fowey. It is constructed from stone rubble with a slate hipped roof. The building is four storeys high and has two windows, each containing sash windows with glazing bars set within red brick arches. A 6-light Victorian shop front is present, along with a panelled door featuring a rectangular fanlight and a cornice supported by shaped brackets. The building is included on the list because of its group value, contributing to the character of the surrounding buildings at Nos 2 to 6 (even) Webb Street, Nos 4 and 6 Market Street, Nos 2 and 4 South Street, and the King of Prussia Public House on Town Quay.
