No. 4 Market Street is an early 19th-century stone building that stands four storeys tall. It features two sash windows with glazing bars, which are set beneath red brick segmental arches. The ground floor includes a three-light Victorian shop front alongside a door that has a panelled design and a rectangular fanlight above it. The building is topped with a slate hipped roof.
