Description

This headstone, dating from 1788, commemorates John, the son of William and Susanna Mark. It is located 12 metres to the east of the chancel of the Church of St Tallan. The headstone is made of slate and features a nowy-head design. The inscription is written in lower case lettering with serifs and reads: "Dear Parents cease to mourn or weep / For in this grave I sweetly sleep / And left a sinful World behind / A crown of Glory for to find."
